An Enemy of the People - Aquila Theatre |
|
An Enemy of the People - Aquila Theatre Co. Sound Bites - 6:30 pm in the Fern Young Terrace Tuesday, March 2, 2010 - 7:30 pm www.aquilatheatre.com $29, $26, $19 (UW-W Students $16) Henrik Ibsen’s classic, An Enemy of the People, is brought to life by Aquila Theatre. This exciting drama explores the impact of severe eco-issues on a small town and the consequences to one man of uncovering the truth. Dr. Stockmann’s shocking discovery that the celebrated town spa is toxic creates tension as the town grapples with losing a major source of income. Inspired by the contemporary relevance of Ibsen's play, Aquila is producing An Enemy of the People as an entirely green production with the smallest possible carbon footprint. Aquila Theatre Company is dedicated to the reinterpretation of classical drama. It is their mission to bring the greatest works to the greatest number.
